Featuring: Four members of the North Eastern Federation of Anarcho Communists (NEFAC): Nicolas Robertson, Duke Aaron, Christine Karatnytsky, Jeff Shantz
  • Anarchists against the war! - With the intensification of the war at home and abroad, legitimized by the paranoid national security discourses of political elites since September 11th, 2001, the capitalist and imperialist war machine is undergoing a full expansion.
Featuring: Benoit Desgreniers (NEFAC, Montreal), Harsha Walia (No One Is Illegal, Montreal), Wally Rosel (Federation Anarchiste, France), Ashanti Alston (Anarchist Panther Zine, New York), Cindy Milstein (Institue for Anarchist Studies, Vermont)
  • From the Black Bloc to Bread & Butter struggles - Two activists from La Commune (NEFAC-Montreal) discuss the Black Bloc tactic and how it was employed in street demonstrations in Quebec on previous occasions. The pros and cons of this tactic are debated, and the activists speak of how they wished to move beyond mere street confrontation with the State. In the latter portion of the interview they discuss local issues and problems in Quebec, and how the anarchists there have been involved in campaigns on the ground.
  • Marxism and Anarchism - from Renewing the Anarchist Tradition 2004 (Plainfield, VT). A panel which looks at how Marxism and anarchism have laid out different visions, critiques, and theories in the past and present. The panelists explain how Marxism and anarchism differ or could relate today. Speakers: Wayne Price (NEFAC-NYC), Seth Weiss, Graciela Monteagudo.
  • Self-Determination in the Context of War and Globalization - from Renewing the Anarchist Tradition 2004 (Plainfield, VT). Bronwyn Lepore (NEFAC-Philadelphia) addresses the sometimes vague and often liberal use of the term "self-determination" in antiwar activism today, and the need (for anarchists and others on the Left) to engage in deeper discussions of what it is we mean when we talk about the right to self-determination.
  • Anarchism and the Anti-War Movement in Ireland (part 1) - Andrew Flood, a member of the Wokers Solidarity Movement from Dublin, spoke on the anti-war movement Ireland, specifically on the campaigns surrounding the U.S. use of Shannon airport. Shannon airport in offically 'neutral' southern Ireland has been used for at least a decade to refuel US war planes. Grassroots Network Againt the War (GNAW) held a series of direct action tresspasses and property destruction. (part 2)
